The process for obtaining prior approval for Continuing Education Programs is handled through the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ). Please contact: Jacki Van Oort, NAHQ’s administrator, at jvanoort@nahq.org or 847/375-3675.

For individual recertification HQCB accepts any continuing education that follows the content outline for the exam. It is not a requirement that programs which follow the content outline of the examination be pre-approved.

Please note courses relating to clinical patient care or medical treatment are not accepted.
