EXAMINATION INFORMATION

Thank you for your interest in the CPHQ examination and certification program. The CPHQ examination is available on an ongoing basis at over 100 computer testing centers located throughout the United States. (Click here to link to the testing agency web site and view the list of available test centers.)

The Candidate Handbook contains complete information and the application form for both the computerized test and the pencil and paper format of the examination.

The examination is provided in paper and pencil format at multiple locations outside of the United States.

Testing at international sites outside the United States is available in pencil and paper format twice each year.

The next four dates for testing at international sites in paper & pencil format are:

Saturday, 7 May 2005 test date - deadline to apply is 28 February 2005
Saturday, 8 October 2005 test date- deadline to apply is 30 June 2005

The fee for both computer-based and paper and pencil format of the examination is $440. NAHQ members may take advantage of the $370 special NAHQ member fee. HQCB is also pleased to extend the lower NAHQ-member exam fee to candidates who are members of national healthcare quality societies outside of the United States that have formally affiliated with NAHQ.
